QGHA hosted an open invitation seminar with Dr Teri Manolio during her Australian visit in February 2018. Dr Manolio is based in Bethesda, Maryland and directs the National Human Genome Research Institute’s (NHGRI) Division of Genomic Medicine, where she leads programs to develop and implement genomic applications in clinical care.

Dr Manolio presented to a full house at the UQ Oral Health Centre Lecture Theatre. Her presentation on “Clinical Implementation Programs of the National Human Genome Research Institute” gave an overview of NHGRI activities. QGHA received great feedback on the seminar from the QGHA community, clinical community and health genomics community. You can listen to Dr Manolio’s talk, or download her slides below.
