A core theme among many of the QGHA’s overarching goals and objectives is to build capability and broad supporting infrastructure that will enable an acceleration of the implementation of clinical genomics in Queensland.
The program’s overarching logic and design is based on:
- The conduct of a series of Clinical Demonstration Projects (over three 18-month funding rounds);
- The concurrent establishment of five Capability-building Workstreams (with respective projects funded over three 18-month phases); and
- A clinically-led and patient-centred translational research and implementation focus.
